At Clarkston library GSU Perimeter College, students need basic overviews of controversial, current events. Alas, Issues and Controversies lacks the depth and breadth necessary for higher education, and scholarly articles are frequently too narrow and detailed for a first source. What students needed was access to book chapters. Fortunately, the switch to remote work was an opportunity to expand and update my LibGuide handout pages for ProCon sources. The result is a ten page and growing LibGuide with the most current ebooks on controversial issues, all accessible to students in hybrid learning. All it took was knowledge about my students, persistence, basic HTML, and of course GALILEO.
