UGA Libraries piloted a purchase request link that appears when users view book records in the catalog or via the FIND IT @ UGA link resolver. Developed to facilitate ebook purchases during COVID-19, the purchase request link supports collection development at the user's immediate point of need. By pulling bibliographic data straight from the record into the form, the link makes the purchase request experience more seamless. In our presentation, we will discuss the evolution of this project over the pandemic, our usability and testing process, and how it has helped us better understand the collection needs and preferences of users.
